1% for the Planet is a global organization that exists to ensure our planet and future generations thrive. We inspire businesses and individuals to support environmental nonprofits through membership and everyday actions. We make environmental giving easy and effective through partnership advising, impact storytelling and third-party certification.
Started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, our business members and individual members have given hundreds of millions of dollars to our approved nonprofit partners to date. Today, 1% for the Planet’s global network consists of thousands of businesses, individuals and environmental nonprofits working toward a better future for all.
Asking questions and continuously learning to trigger imagination is how we stay curious throughout the entire design process. We take genuine interest in our client’s work and the change they’re leading to build a better world.
Good design should tell powerful stories. Since the birth of civilization, we’ve learned, passed on information, and evolved as a species from generation to generation through storytelling. This is our inspiration. We dive in to explore solutions beyond sustainability.
Our creative stories unveiled for each brand we work with are the catalyst for systemic change. We’re here to start conversations that lead to measurable action and impact. We’ve kickstarted our own change by becoming a member of 1% for the Planet.
Our creative work is guided by an underlying foundation of integrity, honesty, and transparency. We believe that offering a holistic design approach provides a more genuine experience, sparking conversations for a better way forward.
