So you’ve begun your search for a digital design agency? We design and develop websites that give our clients an effective online presence, and therefore maximum brand visibility. Garlic’s digital expertise combined with that of my developer colleagues, will help your business to deliver its message online.

I create site plans, wireframes, high fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using Adobe XD or Figma software. Once the designs are approved, I develop the pixel-perfect website using either WordPress combined with the Elementor Pro page builder or using the Wix platform. These are both content management systems (CMS), which allows multiple contributors to create, edit and publish content on the site. Garlic can offer the full stack of digital solutions.

Of course it’s no use having a beautiful, stylish website if nobody can ever find it. That’s why I always take search engine optimisation into consideration before organising the site plan or main header navigation. In terms of scoring top marks with search engines you’ll want a designer who can balance search with style. I advise clients to use fresh relevant content – to facilitate this, I would recommend using a SEO copywriting service to write keyword centric content. I would integrate your social media feeds onto your site and to add social share buttons next to key pieces of content.

It is said that web design is all about form versus function. But truth be told, the two don’t have to compete, they should work together for the greater good. By marrying style with substance, Garlic achieves both visually dazzling and user friendly results. I always create responsive websites to allow the content to be perfectly displayed on smart phones, tablets and other devices. The results when combined with thoughtful design and effortless user experience are epic.

SITE ONBOARDING
During the final couple of weeks I will provide a ‘handover guide’ PDF to help you and the team understand the basics of WordPress and Elementor Pro. I will also provide online training sessions using Google Meet to ensure you feel confident on the day-to-day running of your site. We can always organise further training sessions should the need arise.

SITE MAINTENANCE
Your website is the first impression your customers have of your business. With the online world constantly evolving, your site needs to keep pace to not fall behind the competition. Maintenance usually includes: scanning for vulnerabilities, repairs and fixes, broken link checker, theme and plugin updates, Google Lighthouse tests for load speed, running analytics reports and adding fresh content.

REPORTING TOOLS
With a Google Analytics plugin installed on your website, WordPress will be able to harness the power of the available data. Generate reports to track the performance of certain pages or products and take informed promotional decisions. Monitor traffic referral sources and understand visitor behaviour to further improve your site’s performance.

ONSITE BANNER ADS
We could further enrich your visitors’ experience by creating branded images, pop-up banners or exit popups. These can be designed to carry a variety of messages whilst avoiding the annoyance factor. I can create custom or standard banner sizes like medium rectangles, large rectangle, leaderboard or skyscraper, depending upon the chosen website structure.

GOOGLE BANNER ADS
I can design and produce a set of branded static (or dynamic) banner ad images for any campaigns you might run on Google Display Network. My clients often request a set of around 20 different sized banners, which once designed and approved are exported as ‘web-friendly’ optimised JPG files to be uploaded to support your marketing activities.

SOCIAL MEDIA BRANDING
I would suggest investing an initial few hours to ensure your social media profile pages are all looking professional and on-brand. I am also experienced at designing and delivering branded post images, post grids and carousels for clients’ social channels. I can also create short animations to run as either GIF or MP4 files in your feeds.
